Maintenance Tips
The 9500 has many built in features to ensure that data availability is maximised. the Support Processor analyses performance and trends, fences parts and regions identified as problematic, guides the engineer through repair procedures, and monitors the effects of the repairs.

When problems are being rectified, it is important not to deviate from the procedures specified by the Suport Processor. Do not replace parts other than those listed, or replace them in the wrong order, or swap them with identical parts within the 9500.

Should this happen the SP will fence more items as it discovers that the results of its procedures are not as expected and assumes the original problem has escalated.

Support Information

Remote Support
Level 1 technical support functions are available including remote equipment monitoring and support, subject to certain conditions (refer to the 'Terms and Conditions' section under the 'Home' menu). With this option the performance of the equipment can be routinely monitored and the relevant personnel made aware of any issues that will cause degradation.

Online Support
If no remote connection to the equipment exists when a problem occurs, any error information can be emailed for analysis instead. A full recovery plan will be formulated and sent to the required personnel, along with details of any necessary parts and procedures needed to ensure that equipment downtime is kept to a minimum.
